Used Book Drive

CAN YOU DONATE USED BOOKS FOR CHILDREN OR TEENS?

Immanuel's Youth Group has a new service project for the month of July. They are collecting used books for Migrant Farm Worker's children and teens. There may be as many as 300 to 400 kids at the annual Back-to-School Outreach so lots of books are needed. Please bring your books to the Youth Room NEXT SUNDAY so we will have time to sort them.
Thanks for joining us in this opportunity to serve our Lord!

Hurricane Season Policy

If a hurricane forces us to cancel Sunday church services, we will hold the service the following Wednesday at 7pm unless there is still an imminent threat from a hurricane.

We will do everything possible to keep you informed by use of group emails and the church voicemail message system.

Family Life Center Access Limited

Effective Monday, June 23, 2008, the West side of the Family Life Center will be closed and it will remain closed through the first week of August.

If you have anything stored in this area that you may need, please remove it before the 23rd. Access will be VERY limited during this time.

Hurricane Host Families and Guests Program

Our Social Concerns Committee will again offer help to Immanuel families in evacuation zones who have nowhere to go or are unable to go to a hurricane shelter because of health concerns or other reasons.
Social Concerns will match evacuees with homes having extra bedrooms or facilities.
You can help us. The Committee needs your participation to make this program a success and to give comfort to those with special needs.
